Hey y’all!

Last week was a quiet one when it came to the current stars, but things are picking up again! We have a Venus ingress coming up, and a Full Moon too! If you’re feeling lost on what to do for the full moon, I have an article to help you build a relationship with the moon and its cycles. This week is a little lighter than normal, as I’m still building momentum on getting back into the groove of things. I was working morning and night shifts due to a scheduling error. But, now I’m back on nights and I have the mornings to dedicate to my Astrology + tarot clients and work on this newsletter too.

The seven of crystals show up whenever when we’ve been hard at work, though, since it’s paired with the shadow card, it gives us an opportunity to go deeper.

Are you walking a path that you’re proud of, or are you doing it to just go through the motions? It’s important to know where you’re going, and where you’re heading to. Sometimes, when the grass is too tall, we need to guide ourselves on intuition alone. Are you tapped into that intuition? Are you confident in your ability to lead yourself toward your dreams? Are you allowing yourself the space to believe in yourself?

Take some time to assess if you have any limiting beliefs toward your intuition. Or maybe, some limiting beliefs about yourself, your past, or the path you’re currently on. Oftentimes, we are our own worst critics - remember that. Give yourself grace, and give yourself love for getting as far as you have so far.

The path that you’ve been carving needs to be assessed if it’s a labor of love, or if your energy is better used elsewhere. It even might be a sign that you just need to adjust the course slightly to get the results you’re looking for.

You have the skills necessary for your path in your subconscious, but are you listening? You’ve overcome obstacles before, just make sure you’re finding the lesson in the past. You have the innate ability to manifest exactly what you’re looking for. All you need is to tune in and unlock some trapped energy. You have everything you need.

Once you click play, you’ll be quick to realize this isn’t in English. However, I’ve been really digging French music lately. I know this might not be for everyone, but if you’re looking for an excuse to broaden your range of music taste, give this a try!

The current stars 🌠

With a Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 3rd, one thing for certain is we can expect the unexpected. Sagittarius is a fire-ruled sign, so we can expect some excess mental energy coming up, or even some anxiety. Full Moons are oftentimes a period of culmination, and sometimes that culmination can fester and show up as inner agitation. With this Sagittarius Full Moon coming up, take account of what you’d like to let go, and visualize what you’d like to replace that with. It can be a feeling, an experience, or a sensation. You can call in more abundance and opportunity for yourself by utilizing the energy being cast down from the Moon. This is the perfect day to let go of expectations or things weighing you down mentally and work on a plan to manifest your dreams.

When Venus ingresses from Cancer into Leo on June 5th, we’ll feel the pendulum shift and counteract the sensitive nature we’ve experienced with Venus in Cancer over the past weeks. You might find more energy to put into your relationships, or even find the courage to discuss something that’s been on your mind. Venus in Leo gives us the opportunity to try new things and find ourselves. Go shopping and try a new style of pants on, or indulge in a new form of makeup. It’s a great time to play with self-expression and find what lights up your creativity.

Saturn will be stationing retrograde on June 17th. I only want to put it on your radar for the time being, but we’ll be diving into this transit next week. Oftentimes, with retrogrades, we can feel a shift in energy before the planet slows down to station retrograde, and again when it picks up momentum to station direct. Retrogrades can seem scary in terms of pop Astrology, but I like to look at them as opportunities to slow down and assess that area of my life. With this Saturn transit, look at your natal chart in the house that is governed by Pisces, and experiment with journaling to see where you can make adjustments.

What’s in my cup 🍵

I’ve been a long-time believer in the benefits of mushrooms. I had a profound healing experience when I utilized them to help my adrenal fatigue and lingering thyroid issues 5+ years ago. Not to mention the benefit I’ve found throughout the last decade or so in using psychoactive mushrooms.

Lately, I’ve felt called to utilize medicinal mushrooms more in my daily routine. After much research, I settled on adding reishi, tremella, and cordyceps to my existing routine using turkey tail that I foraged last year. Medicinal mushrooms are non-psychoactive, meaning that they’re not altering your state of consciousnesses. The ones I’m adding to my routine are adaptogens, meaning within time, they’ll modulate my system to help my skin, immune system, and energy levels.

I’ve been especially in love with Cordyceps militaris mushrooms. I find that they bring awareness and alertness without the anxiety or activated feeling that caffeine brings.
