Wow, March was a busy month! Both Astrologically speaking, as well as personally. Lots of folks I know and work with had an equally busy few weeks. I’ll attribute it to Saturn’s ingress into Pisces, learning new boundaries and such. April will be much smoother as far as the stars go, thankfully.
We have a packed newsletter this week to make up for the absence of last week, so let’s dive into this week’s cup of tea!
Tuesday tarot 🔮
I love how both of the cards are decorated in purple, when dealing with chakras, this is associated with Sahasrara. Purple is said to be a healing color in this nature. This chakra is found at the crown of your head. Sahasrara is the center of enlightenment and is the most spiritual of all the chakras.
When glancing at the 4 of Wands, we have the idea of comfort with the look on the Walrus’s face, along with community, and the elemental symbol of fire. With fire, we have the connotation of community and a gathering of people. We have the sense of “all is well” with the relaxed energy of the Walrus, and we’re reminded to choose routines for stability to embrace the highest version of ourselves. Be relaxed like our friend the Walrus, and have faith in choosing things with your highest self in mind.
The 10 of Swords gives us hope of transformation, transmutation, and recovery. It’s paired with the symbol of air, which encourages us to go with the flow and embrace the ebbs and flows of life. Enjoying the small moments. Snake reminds us that we’re supposed to slide with the changes, and with grace. There is a huge skill in being quick on your feet and being adaptable. Take a moment to collect yourself, and make a plan moving forward, snake is here to guide you during times of mental exhaustion and inspire hope.

Tuesday tunes 🎵
I’ve been digging this remix for a while. If you’re a die-hard Dolly fan, you might not get down with the electronic mix. It’s nothing too intense, but personally, I love turning this on in the car and jamming out. It’s a feel-good classic that we all know and love, with an updated beat.
Intentional Living 🕊️
The health benefits of B12 are starting to gain popularity. I’ve been experimenting on and off with adding B12 to my diet and via supplements over the years since I previously was a vegan. Though recently, methylated B12 supplements have been something in my everyday stack, plus adding fish to my diet too. I love the energy boost it gives me, and I even feel like I get a night of better sleep at night when I take B12 first thing in the morning.
With all of the news about unsafe drinking water from our taps and streams with the recent ecological disasters, it’s good to see the EPA is proposing the first standards to make water safer from “forever chemicals”. Though, I personally feel like this is something that should have been implemented years ago.
If you’re feeling like spring has sprung, but you’re “too old” to explore a yoga class to welcome some warmth into your life - fret not! Researchers say yoga may reduce frailty and improve endurance - especially in more mature adults. Further proof that age doesn’t define us, and you can start anything, especially a movement-based practice, no matter your age!
Good eats 🥑
Hemp heart ranch is on this week’s menu, salad season is coming up! We’ve been craving more salads instead of soups, now that the weather is warming up here. We’re pairing this creamy dressing with some buffalo garbanzo beans, greens, roasted broccoli, and some shredded carrot. To make this dressing extra nutritious, try adding silken tofu for extra protein!
Some good news about food is that food inflation seemed to of stalled in February. We’ve all noticed that food costs have been rising without our salaries following suit (which is honestly equal parts terrifying and depressing). Thankfully, it seems to have come to a halt, and hopefully, stays that way. In an ideal world, we’d see that cost fall back down, but, since I have a suspicion that won’t be happening I’m taking extra steps to be more frugal with my family’s food consumption.
Last week we enjoyed a repeat on the menu, emerald dahl. It’s creamy, herbaceous, and pairs perfectly with a garnish of lime! The base of spinach and mint pairs perfectly with the cumin and mustard seed! It’s all balanced out with some coconut milk too. If you’re looking for something nutritious, earthy, and cheap - this is a fantastic option!
The current stars 🌠
The Sun is in Aries from March 20th through April 20th when it’ll then ingress into Taurus. Aries season gives us lots of energy, passion, and is a great metaphor for the beginning of Spring. Personally, I view Aries season as the beginning of my year instead of the beginning of January. When utilized correctly, Aries energy can boost our confidence, center our goals, and push us toward greatness. Unchecked, it can lead to some misplaced ego, stubbornness, or maybe even some frustration.
Pluto ingressed into Aquarius on March 23rd and has since been all over my social media timeline. Pluto takes almost 250 years to make a cycle around the sun, so it stays in each zodiac sign for about 20 years. Don’t fall victim to panic about a “new world order” or anything of the like. This Pluto transit is a slow burn, and while you might notice some shifts (like the economy) the big events will be throughout the transit. Pluto in Aquarius urges us to be open-minded and to expect the unexpected. This next generation is going to lead brilliant change, that’s totally unique to generations before it, and I’m excited to see how it all plays out. Truthfully, we need a big change, and hopefully, Aquarius will lead us to the greater good.
Mars moved into Cancer on March 25th, which might inspire some rest when it comes to your work life. Lean into sitting with emotions instead of pushing past them, and make sure you take your time talking to loved ones. Mars in Cancer can be quite defensive, and almost possessive (especially when it comes to matters about our home life). So keep this in mind if you’re visiting any family, and going to any home-based gatherings during this transit.
The Moon shifted into Cancer today, March 28th, wonderful news for the Moon! Cancer is the Moons domicile, moreover, a zodiac placement that’s natural and beneficial to the moon. You can expect your emotions to be a little higher, or you might have an increased need for some personal self-care time. It’s the perfect time to indulge in some romcoms, wear your most luxurious sweatpants, or do some in-depth journaling + shadow work.

The inner circle 🤝
We’re finally in the process of gathering materials for our hoop house. We’re using the planning of this one that Ellyse found on Youtube. Right now, we’re taking it slow and trying to gather up materials from Facebook Marketplace so we can keep costs low. But we’re hoping that the construction of this will recoup costs within the year! I’ll be sure to keep y’all updated about the curation of this awesome addition to our mini-homestead!
We finally got our NFT drop figured out for OurLandDAO! We’ll be showing y’all a teaser on Twitter and it’ll be featured in this newsletter in April! Keep your eyes peeled! We’ll also be posting our unboxing of the super special seed kits that’ll be included in our limited NFT drop, too!
We went on a hike over the weekend and came upon some yummy ramps. Ramps have been on my foraging wishlist for years now, and I was beyond shocked when I looked down and saw them underneath my feet! They have a distinct onion-like smell, and have tons of different uses! Some people dry them to use in soups at a later date, and others infuse them into butter! We sauteed them with butter and garlic and had them for breakfast with our oats the following morning. I think I’m going to try a butter infusion next, because these ramps were just too good, and gorgeously green, to boot!
Thanks for hanging out and enjoying this cup of Tuesday tea with me! Subscribers can read on for the weekly community Oracle card pull. This week was a super special one and perfectly aligns with the current astrology (as tarot and oracle cards have a way of doing).
I’ll see ya next week, thanks for reading!
