Happy Tuesday, friends! This week we have two notable Astrology transits, Venus and Mercury are transiting to new signs. I share what we’ve been cooking in the kitchen, tips for making a recyclable greenhouse, and some personal updates too. As always, paid subscribers have a special community divination card reading at the end of this email, plus some extra goodies!
Tuesday tarot 🔮
The wheel of fortune is indicative of change, cycles, or some sort of inevitable fate. We’re talking about the same sorts of forces that govern the changing seasons. This is so fitting as we’re exiting winter and coming up on Spring. It makes me think to give ourselves more slack for change, and to not be so fixated on staying the same or living up to certain expectations. We honor and celebrate our surrounding seasons, so why not celebrate the seasons of change within ourselves?

Tuesday tunes 🎵
I’ve recently gotten really into Papdosio. They were really popular among my friend group in my early twenties, but I was too hellbent on metal and hardcore techno to give them a real chance. If you’re looking for some new tunes to add to your playlist, give this a try! I’m a sucker for any sort of progressive music, honestly.
Intentional living 🕊️
Manifesting at its finest! Remember how I posted about Facebook Buy Nothing groups last week? Well, I was able to score a carload of new plants for FREE - you can find the video here! Plants just make a house feel like a home, ya know?
Have you tried or heard of ice baths? I did my first cold water plunge in a nearby stream last weekend, and it piqued my mind about cold water therapy. It’s something I definitely want to do more research on, but, I will say I felt fabulous afterward. If you’ve tried this, let me know what results you saw, please!
Dry brushing - direction matters. I came across this video on TikTok the other day from one of my favorite accounts, lymphlaughlove. Check it out if you’re a dry brusher like me, or if you’ve been curious! I do it for physical exfoliation and the supposed skin benefits.
No greenhouse, no problem! Are you getting ready for seed season? We certainly are, and we’ve been saving our containers for berries and tofu recently to recycle our plastic thanks to our friend Amy, who’s video you can find here! She explains how you can reuse inevitable plastic from the produce section at the grocery store to put together a makeshift greenhouse.
Good Eats 🥑
This week sesame lentils are on the menu. We made these a few weeks ago, and it instantly became a household favorite. It’s easy, comforting, warm, and most importantly - delicious! It’s also wallet-friendly, so you’ll be able to make this plant-based meal without breaking the bank.
Two other recipes that we’ll be trying out soon are these red lentil waffles, and homemade quinoa wraps. Both have minimal ingredients, are gluten-free, and are plant-based!
Current Stars 🌠
Venus will be in her home sign this coming March 16th. This will be a nice change of pace since Venus has been in Aries since the February. Venus in Aries brought us a lot of fiery passion, and sometimes obsession. Venus in Taurus will be luxe and tactile. Take this season to dive into what makes you feel good. Whether that’s a self care day, redecorating your house, or just spending some time outdoors with nature. You deserve to use this excuse to treat yourself, in the name of Venus.
Mercury will be moving in to Aries March 19th. Take this opportunity to ride the wave of gusto, and finish that project you’ve been putting off. Though, beware of being too blunt or aggressive with your tone, especially via text or email. Mercury in Aries could print you to say exactly how you feel, sans filter. So, if you can, try to use that for good, and not for spite.
The next AstroBasics series is March 20th. Next Monday we’ll be talking all about Jupiter, you can join the open discussion over on Twitter Spaces. We’re in the process of turning past episodes into Podcasts, too!

Things are picking up at OurLandDAO. We’re all set with our NFT artist, and we’ll be releasing some sneak peaks to the community soon. If you’re not already following us over there, you can find our Twitter here. We’re so excited to highlight Morning Star Conservatory in this digital way. We’ve been going back and fourth with them to make sure the NFT was what they had in mind, and we’re all so excited!
Daylight savings time can kiss my ass. Just as I was starting to get the hang of waking up just a tad earlier, it’s dark at night when my alarm goes off. Personally, I think I can speak for the masses when I say they need to just keep it this way. The switching around is bad for my mental health, plus, theres been studies on how bad switching the clocks is for our health in general. You can bet I’ll be clutching to my SAD lamp extra hard these next few days.
We still haven’t started our seeds yet, as we had an issue with the manufacture we purchased our seed bundle from a few weeks ago. But, I’m glad we didn’t go ahead planting anything, because we had a false Spring the last two weeks. We got spoiled enjoying the sun and opening all the windows in the house, and when we woke up over the weekend, it was back to below freezing. What a bummer. But, I’m gad that it gives me more time to plan the garden and work on obtaining more seeds!
What I’m drinking. This week I’ve taken a dive back into one of my favorite teas: In the Pines by High Garden Tea. It’s the perfect non-caffeinated cup for a cold winters day. It tastes like a fresh breeze of forest air thanks to the pine needles, spearmint, and juniper berries - check out the full list of ingredients.
Thanks for reading, I hope this cup of Tuesday Tea was warm and cozy!
I can’t wait to show y’all how I’m going to arrange all of my new houseplants. Plus, we’re collecting items to build the hoop house aka greenhouse on our property this spring. I’m hoping to have some videos for my paid subscribers that way they can come along for the journey!
Until next week!
