If you’ve been looking for an excuse to have a rebrand, the time is now. There are so many opportunities to be on the road to discovering your truest self and to find yourself supported by the stars. Remember though that it’s a time to experiment and even get a little weird — not set things in stone. With Mars still retrograde until the end of February, you’ll want to keep your options (and mind) open.
You’ll also notice that the Sun is returning, and the days are getting a bit longer. Imbolc, a time when we anticipate new life, is on February 1st. Start small if you’ve been getting the itch to partake in spring cleaning. Don’t overwhelm yourself with too many projects. Take on enough to get some things off of your mental to-do list, but not too much to where you’d be paralyzed.
We finally painted our bedroom, something that’s been on our list for two years (crazy, I know). But it reminded me how much the energetic frequency of a room can be altered by just the decor. It’s inspired me to cultivate more joy and to interject that sense of peace wherever I can, even if that means just getting some warmer lighting so my body is more receptive to rest.
This week in the Inner Circle, we’ll be talking about soul-searching and re-evaluation topics with the community tarot. Plus, diving into some quick but effective spells on banishing bad habits. Spellwork doesn’t always have to be this long drawn-out ritual, sometimes the most effective spells are the ones you can do with confidence and clarity.
🌠 Astrology forecast
Jan 13 | Redirect that impulsive energy
Full Moon in Cancer
This lunation is not only bringing your emotions to the forefront but there’s something else. You’ll need to go deeper, whether you want to or not. You’re more sensitive than usual, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing, just something to be mindful of.
There might be a pattern showing up around excess, emotional baggage, or a repeat of old patterns you thought were behind you. With Mars and the Moon so close to one another, some upheaval is bound to take place. If you can’t escape it, remember to be kind to yourself instead of letting this transit take hold. It’ll be easy to fall into the trap of negative self-talk. If it doesn’t act in the best interest of your higher self, why bother partaking?
Hopefully, you have some experience in grounding, mindfulness, or breathwork — because you’ll be feeling impulsive. Don’t act without thinking through the whole scenario, and don’t let your emotions hijack anything. If you’re not on top of your reactions, autopilot will take over (and not in a good way.) You’ll need to keep an eye on your knee-jerk reactions and be cautious of being a bit brash. Being mindful of your own emotions will be a bit of a struggle, let alone someone else’s in the mix.
The best part of this transit is the unique opportunity for some soul-searching or shadow work. It’ll be an incredible time to go inward, as long as you’re not too hard on yourself.
💡 You’re tempted to learn from your intuition but feel a slight resistance. This is your sacred moment to refill your cup without any external expectations. Get quiet, be true to yourself, and get comfortable with meeting yourself where you are at this very moment.
Jan 19 | Separating yourself from outdated patterns
Sun Aquarius ingress
With Aquarius season comes a monumental shift. There are signatures of major change since the Sun and Pluto are so close to one another. However, if you’ve been feeling inclined to get a little more creative or you’ve had an idea swirling around your brain — now is the time to let it out. Experiment with what feels good, and see how your mindset shifts about what you’re capable of.
Even if you feel like you’re struggling to find the right words on how you feel, or how to handle a situation — remember that some space might do you good. Take a breather to reset, and make sure you’re not making things more complicated than they need to be. Throughout this transit, you’ll discover how to embody your authentic self, even if that makes little bits of the “old you” fall to the wayside. Change is good, don’t resist it. This is the time to embrace new ways of thinking, and challenge what has been engrained. Separate yourself from the patterns placed on you, and see where you can adjust to find room for more unique frequencies. How do you want to show up, and what’s stopping you from making it a reality?
However, make sure that you’re not being too aggressive with the change that you’re trying to instill. Don’t push it on other people, your partner, or even yourself. Now isn’t the time to set anything in stone, even though you might want to make it a part of your identity. It’s more about finding a flow, and what works instead of hitting the pavement running before you’ve checked your shoes.
💡 There will be blips on the road to finding a more comfortable state of being, just make sure prepared to pivot. Make sure you’re realistic with your desires, the universal current will flow through you with divine ease.

💚 Weekly favs
On repeat 🎵 I’ve vowed to up my reading this year, so audiobooks have been a priority. I just started Wintering, By Katherine May and so far, it’s a gorgeous read. Emotional, powerful, and everything I need to hear right now.
Meal prep 🥑 These lentil fritters were an absolute hit in our house! We’ll definitely be making more of these (once we go through the extras we made!) Savory and perfect for a cold winter day!
Herb highlight 🌿 Ginger has been a savior for me this week. Ginger tea is a powerful plant ally known to reduce nausea and ease digestive issues, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. I love using chunks of dehydrated ginger in my French press for the ultimate spicy tea!
On my nightstand 📚 I finished my first book of 2025, Financial Sorcery by Jason Miller. It’s useful for folks looking to reframe their relationship with money, and are looking for new ways to work with financial energy. If you can get past some of the outdated concepts, it’s a great read to shift your mindset a bit. The spells are helpful, and I’m always a fan of some sigil magick that Miller features quite often.
