Sun moves into Cancer squaring Saturn and Neptune
The Sun in Cancer has entered the chat! It’s joining Venus and Mercury which makes for an interesting blend of themes that focus on your body, mind, and soul. Don’t be surprised if you feel a little more emotional, take things to heart, or even remember the past. This season is meant to be a little more reflective and a little less pushy.
How you self-identify might feel a little less stable than normal. Reconsideration of how you show up in the world, and labels of identity might be a challenge. You might feel scared to be your true self, or maybe even feel unsafe doing so. Patterns of self-doubt and limiting beliefs are going to shine through during this season with Saturn squaring the Sun. Especially when it comes to how you move through life and the daily actions you take. It can be as complex as liberating yourself out of the closet, or as minute as just feeling icky not speaking up in conversation.
This transit is a gorgeous time to go inward and explore what really lights you up. Let your thoughts reflect your feelings, and get into the nitty-gritty. Speak your truth, and own it. Choose yourself, even when it’s tough, and make sure that you’re feeding your soul. In the moments that you’re not choosing yourself, or acting in service of your higher self, the season will rework a way for you to learn the lesson again. It’ll be all about themes of lessons, boundaries, and how to empower yourself. Let Cancer season be a theme of rejuvenation, internal transformation, and becoming what you speak.

June 21 | Get outside & ground yourself ASAP
Full moon in Capricorn squaring Neptune
You have things on your mind, and people need to listen. But wait, make sure you’re holding the right space and being methodical in your declarations! This lunation highlights everything you want to say but doesn’t necessarily give you the tools on how to articulate it.
This Full moon is truly going to bring on the unexpected. Be on the lookout for wavering confidence, feeling lost, or feeling out of sorts. Avoid public speaking or big presentations if you can. This transit can manifest in the physical as brain fog, restlessness, or poor sleep. If you feel like your thoughts are ping-ponging around your head, that’s totally normal. Full moons have a way of making our unconscious show itself in uncomfortable ways.
To remediate and ward off any uncomfortable feelings — dive into periods of introspection, and especially time outside. A walking meditation in the park or an early evening solo-date forest bathing is just the thing to do to get back in your body This is an incredible time to pick up journaling or even dive into a new self-help book. The more you reflect, the better. As long as it’s not in an obsessive way, but it’s coming from a place of love and honor for yourself. If you’re one for art, surround yourself with it. Put on your favorite tunes or podcast, and submerge yourself in your craft. Don’t put any pressure on yourself, just make sure you’re living in the moment.
Your brain might be going 100 mph but remember to control your emotions.

It focuses on the wisdom and magic that lives inside the Appalachian mountains, it’s a quick read and I’m finding it interesting since it covers so many topics of lore and legend. What’s in my cup ☕
I’ve been struggling with finding something to settle my sleep-deprived soul in the mornings. I’m not sure my tiny cup of coffee is serving me, and my usual green tea hasn’t been what I’ve been craving. I’ve been thinking of repurchasing an old favorite called Woodland Roast by High Garden Tea (long-time subscribers will remember this one). Your typical dandelion root teas usually don’t provide enough comfort for me in the mornings, but this one has the perfect hint of cocoa to bring it all together. The dandelion root and chicory root offer significant liver tonic properties and a rich, roasted flavor. Cocoa husks add antioxidants and theobromine, enhancing your mood and overall well-being, too!
This is my favorite stainless steel tea strainer which is perfect for travel, I use the large size for soups at home — it’s also one of my favorite things to gift to friends! I use this glass french press for all my dried herbs to make tea with, which works perfectly!
