Astrology forecast 🌠
Feb 9 | New Moon in Aquarius
This lunation highlights everything that makes you uncomfortable to radiate a radical change from within. We’re talking about feelings of isolation, pining for alignment, humanitarian heartache, and a general disdain for the way things currently are.
Aquarius interjection can feel a little isolating. But it can also feel a little relieving in the sense that we can rejoice in the ways that we’re different than our neighbors. Aquarius wants nothing more than to be different but also to belong. It’s just finding the “Cinderella shoe” of people to call family. Settling for anything less than perfect just won’t do, especially when it comes to who you surround yourself with.
Be kind to yourself, and make sure to keep an eye on any intrusive thoughts. Air signs are notorious for an ease of inner chatter, which isn’t always a good thing. It’ll be easier to ruminate during this transit, so lean into your grounding practice.
What matters with this lunation is that you find that intuitive sense of wonder and creativity. Your unique sense of being is a gift in and of itself. It’s powerful to own the things that make you different, especially when society tells you to “fix” or “change” it.
Feb 13 | Mars in Aquarius
This transit might feel a little muddy to move through. Inspiration might feel fleeting, or like you can’t catch a break. It might even be difficult to have any energy behind your passions.
What you’ll definitely notice is interesting self-limiting thoughts arise. Themes of “Am I enough” or “What’s the point” will make themselves loud and clear. The most difficult part of this transit will be working with your own mind. Follow your vision and let fear fall by the wayside.
Get curious about what happens when you walk away from these sorts of beliefs. What happens when you step into your power?
How does it feel to be filled with ambition?
What can you do to obtain a sense of flow with ease and stability?
Instead of getting caught up in all of these things you need to do, or all the things you want to do, focus on taking it one step at a time.
Know that every person gets caught up in the should/would/could - this isn’t anything unique to you. Although at times it might feel like the entire world is sitting on your shoulders, I can guarantee we’ve all felt that way at some point in our lives. Don’t take any power away from your emotions, but keep them in check and make sure you’re not listening to a false narrative.
Your energy and passion might come to a lull this Mars in Aquarius, but sometimes we need to take a step back and regroup to come out stronger. In this time of darkness, focus on how you can be more resilient and compassionate at the same time.
Areas of life can be highlighted in different areas of your birth chart against the current landscape of the stars. If you need some help understanding how the transits affect your day-to-day life, I’m here to help! A natal chart reading is especially helpful for folks who have never had an astrological reading and is the best place to start. Astrology has made my life make sense, and I’m here to offer that same sense of understanding and peace.
Weekly favs 💚
On repeat 🎵 My favorite song to drive to work on these chilly mornings. It’s uplifting and ethereal.
Meal prep 🥑 It’s one of those weeks where we don’t have anything on the menu, but what we do have is a BUNCH of veggies from our favorite local organic & pesticide farm Mighty Gnome Market Garden.
On my nightstand 📚 This book is the epitome of “don’t judge a book by its cover” for me. Hekate: Goddess of Witches has been a fabulous read, and I recommend it to anyone curious about her.

What’s in my cup ☕
I’m restarting my herbal cleanse! I dedicate 20 days to the Blood Tonic, and then 10 days to Wildy Healthy, both from High Garden Tea. I’ve done this routine for the last two years and felt so much nourishment. This isn’t a weight loss cleanse, but instead, focusing on supporting my body with extra nutrients and minerals and supporting it so I can let go of some energetic stagnation. I started this earlier in the year, but being on NSAIDs in January, I had to restart
As far as loose-leaf teas go, this is my favorite way to make my infusions. Using a French press enables all of the leaves and herbs to fully expand and release all of their yummy compounds. Plus, keeping it covered helps keep all of that herbal goodness in your tea. This is the French press I use, and I have been using it for the better part of a year. I can’t stress enough how important it is to use a glass tea infuser. If not glass, stainless steel is second best!
