Astrology forecast 🌠

Feb 5 | Mercury moves into Aquarius

Mercury in Aquarius will show you exactly where you need to solidify your boundaries in your professional and personal life. Your idea of “right and wrong” in conversation will be tested, and you’ll learn something new about your communication style. It won’t be the most comfortable to hear things like “you talk too much” or “you don’t talk enough” but take these statements for face value - and consider the source.

This transit, much like Mercury in Capricorn will be jam-packed with growth. If you’re not carefully planning, it’ll seem like things are going awry and “not working out for some reason”. The reason is you’re lacking intention. This transit is all about necessary growth. Embrace messy, seemingly chaotic changes and carve out time to be your best self. Harness your dreams of what your life will look like in five years and make concrete changes to make that dream a reality.

Instead of waiting for the right moment to happen, make that special moment something that is scheduled into your everyday life. Join a writer’s circle, start working on your networking skills, or get technical and beef up your LinkedIn profile. Get imaginative about what succeeding in business means, and make it tangible. Let your dreams inspire the best you possible, and stop at nothing to make it happen.

Bonus points from Aquarius if you work with AI tools to automate your life. Aquarius loves technology, especially advancements that make your life easier. Lean into technology, even just a tiny bit, especially if it scares you. You might just discover something new and exciting.

Astrology is a bit of a nuanced conversation. Areas of life can be highlighted in different areas of your birth chart against the current landscape of the stars. If you need some help understanding how the transits affect your day-to-day life, I’m here to help! A natal chart reading is especially helpful for folks who have never had an astrological reading and is the best place to start. Astrology has made my life make sense, and I’m here to offer that same sense of understanding and peace.

What’s in my cup ☕

Immune system modulation + elderberries

This week we’re diving into elderberries. I’ve been making it a point to add them to daily elixirs to help boost my immunity and give a dose of antioxidants to my system.

Why I love elderberries:

The compounds in elderberries may have anti-inflammatory effects, which could potentially help reduce inflammation in the body.

Some studies suggest that elderberries may help support the immune system, especially during cold and flu seasons. They are often used as a natural remedy for cold and flu symptoms.

Studies have shown that compounds in elderberries may have antiviral effects, potentially inhibiting the replication of certain viruses.

Did you know you can easily forage for these in the fall, too? We have some in our freezer that need to be processed into syrup for easy storage. I’ll be sure to post it online when we finally get around to it!

This is my favorite stainless steel tea strainer, I use the large size for soups and such (it’s also one of my favorite things to gift to friends!). I use this glass french press for all my dried herbs to make tea with, which works perfectly!
