Jan 25 | Full Moon in Leo
Full Moon’s in fire signs aren’t necessarily my favorite. Sometimes this transit can come with a little bit of obsession or even a little aggression. Keep an eye on your frustration levels, and how internally agitated you are. Try to self-soothe whenever possible, and avoid any stressful situations. If it feels like you’re overthinking it or it’s a little muddy - that’s because it is. You might notice that conversation or relationships feel a bit unsteady, the trick is to not go into “what if” mode. As conflicted as it might make you feel, choose to ground yourself in reality and don’t get swept up in the thrill.
This Full Moon in Leo step into your innate yang energy. Put some weight into your words. If you say that you’re going to step into a life with routine and structure - do it. However, make sure that you’re not being too hard on yourself or being unrealistic with your goals.
Jan 27 | A day to watch out for
I could try to explain all of the malefic planetary aspects happening this day, or I could just cut to the chase and give you the deets. What I will say is this isn’t the day to travel or to have a difficult conversation (of any kind, either business-related or romantically).
This day will be sprinkled with themes of restriction, boundary crossing, toxic masculinity, or even all of the above. The saving grace of the day though, is it’s the perfect day to stay indoors. It’s not that I’m urging you to play hooky, but, if there was a day you were going to do it - this would be it.
Self-care is going to feel super yummy and recharging, while difficult conversation is going to be, well even more difficult than anticipated. The name of the game is going to be de-escalation, decompression, and regulation - the problem is these themes are all going to feel hundreds of miles away. Take it easy on yourself, and remember to breathe.

Our household finally found the perfect gluten-free tempura! We seldom eat fried food, but my wife made fish & chips - something I’ve never tried before! If you’re looking for something crispy, light, and crunchy - look no further!
You’ll want to add your wet and dry ingredients separately at first, and then combine when you’re ready to start frying. We modified this recipe here and made it gluten-free!
1/2 cup chickpea flour
1/3 cup potato or cornstarch
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup cold sparkling/soda water

What’s in my cup ☕
I’ve been heavily relying on nettles to support my immunity and well-being. Nettles are rich in antioxidants and provide easy nutrients too. Nettles are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, and calcium. I’ve been adding them to my soups as a base (which is my favorite way to incorporate them once dried) and in my tea as well. They’re earthy, but super yummy!
This is my favorite stainless steel tea strainer, I use the large size for soups and such (it’s also one of my favorite things to gift to friends!). I use this glass french press for all my dried herbs to make tea with, which works perfectly!
