Astrology forecast 🌠

Jan 20 | Sun in Aquarius

Arguably, the best season of the Zodiac. Just kidding, I’m a little biased as an Aquarian Sun stellium (having a cluster of placements in one sign). But really, this season brings lots of introspection, idealism, and honing in on how to make your dreams into reality. In my experience, this time of the year can feel especially frigid emotionally, and bring our darkest thoughts to light. You can be caught up reminiscing, daydreaming as a form of escapism, and just feel pretty lonely overall.

However, the true magic of Aquarius shines in the perseverance of these more difficult traits. Instead of feeling like your human experience is one of isolation, tap into your imagination. Use your dreams to build out your reality. Step out of your comfort zone and gather in community. Aquarius energy enjoys the collective, idealism, and play. It’s just so tightly woven with the same energy that swings the opposite way. We’re talking about duality in choice in your quality of life. Yes, you might feel depressed, but you intuitively know how to get out of that slump. Connection with others can feel extremely gratifying, or it can exacerbate your feelings of “otherness”. But, it’s all about choice. This Aquarius season is about choosing what feels good.

Let the voice inside of you that’s craving peace, human aid, community, and societal advances receive light. Do it despite all the darkness around you. Yes, making this choice can be difficult, but Aquarius is here to remind you that’s worth it to believe in a better future.

Jan 20 | Pluto in Aquarius

Buckle up, Pluto is going to be in Aquarius from now until 2043. We had a brief glimpse of this transit in the middle of last year. Pluto is a generational planet. It stays in each zodiac sign for decades. The themes that will arise will be ones of technological advancement, space travel, interdimensional education, humanitarian cycles, and an overall upheaving of how we identify with the future. Pluto in Aquarius loves to look toward the future, it propels us toward technology, reform, and a social shift.

Pluto was last in Aquarius from January 21, 1778, to August 26, 1798. I’m excited to see how this transit unfolds. Pluto transits have the tendency to make a lot of folks nervous, however, when you bring together the reworking of Pluto and the futurism of Aquarius, incredible things are bound to happen (both good and bad). I’m hopeful for shifts in humanitarian healthcare and the technological advancements of healthcare procedures. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we’ll see more content on alien communication and sightings too, since Aquarius loves to reach out into the beyond.

Jan 23 | Venus in Capricorn

Venus in Capricorn has entered the chat. We’re talking about taking your beauty and self-care routine way more seriously. Really up the auntie on how much you’re investing in yourself. Be logical and strategic in how you view things like creativity, self-identity, and mental well-being. You’ll want to avoid any impulsive decisions, like booking an expensive skin consultation, booking expensive art classes, or splurging on a new hair color. If you have the means, absolutely go for it.

The key part of this transit is strategy and foresight. Carve out time in your day or week to dedicate to fueling your body and mind. Time to sit with your craft, and indulge in creativity, but with structure. You’re not letting responsibilities fall by the wayside, you’re being thoughtful about incorporating love and creation into your schedule - there’s an energetic difference. Make sure you’re feeding your body and soul to propel you through the months ahead. You’ll feel an internal pushback, or maybe even feel your brain tell you that you’re “not worth” such improvements. Make sure you work past these limiting beliefs, and maybe sit with the idea of why you have them in the first place. Capricorn can oftentimes feel a bit depressing, so keep an eye on any negative self-talk.

Plan now for rest and refrain that way you’re able to drop into a sense of flow with ease. When you cultivate a creative and nourishing routine that works with your lifestyle, it’s not only sustainable but can feed your mind. Instead of letting creativity strike, plan it into your week. You’re in control of this transit. It might be more sluggish for some folks to move through than others. Make sure you’re not comparing your journey in the creative realm, or otherwise, to those around you. Venus in Capricorn is asking for dedicated time to the more beautiful things in life. Small or grand, you deserve to be in awe of the vast world around you, and the bubble you live in too.

Jan 11 RECAP | New Moon in Capricorn

If you weren’t able to come to the New Moon Circle last Thursday, I have a little recap of some wonderful moments. We gathered indoors this time and got an organic conversation flowing of the collective energy and what it’s been feeling like. Most folks agreed that it’s been quite tumultuous in general. We talked about how hard it is to choose self-care, which can manifest in a multitude of ways. If you need a refresher on the themes of the New Moon that we focused on, check out last week’s newsletter, here. We also did some IRL group magick inspired by last week's spell shared in the Inner Circle, and of course, we lit stuff on fire! I’ll give you the deets of the big picture of last week’s event:

Space:
“Put them away not down”

  • In terms of keeping your space organized, and fueling you, you need to cultivate your home to be just that - a home. Once I heard an attendee mention that they “put it away, not down” in terms of spatial awareness in their home - a lightbulb turned on. I’m so guilty of putting things down instead of putting them away, and just the idea of taking “clean as you go” to a new level is really exciting.

Body:
”Make a timer for setting routines and preparing mentally”

  • So much of what you do is how you do it. Just making a timer to keep you on track is something so simple, but so impactful. So many folks in the New Moon Circle identified with some resistance to starting tasks (or beating themselves up for starting a task too late in the day. Tap into that Capricorn goodness and utilize times, applications, and tools for setting routines.

Mind:
”Rilke's Book of Hours: Love Poems to God”

“If we surrendered
to Earth's intelligence
we could rise up rooted, like trees.”

You can check out the book, here. This book was mentioned in the circle, and I encourage you to read some of the quotes from it. “Rilke's Book of Hours is the invigorating vision of spiritual practice for the secular world, and a work that seems remarkably prescient today, one hundred years after it was written.“
