You’ll find hints of Saturn everywhere this upcoming week. You’ll feel themes of polarization, and feel your mindset shift among the tides. Venus just moved into a new sign last week, and Mars is following suit. There’s a ton of change in the air, but, there are plenty of lessons to learn.
Tuesday tunes 🎵
I heard someone say recently that they enjoy writing to foreign music so they don’t focus on the words. I normally write to something more instrumental and took this as a sign to switch up the pace. Do you listen to music outside of your native tongue? If not, what’s stopping you?
The current star forecast 🌠
Oct 10 Venus & Saturn opposition | Don’t be surprised if you feel like your creative passions aren’t supporting you all of a sudden. Feeling burnt out on social media, feeling like you’re in a creative lull, or experiencing major writer's block are all natural parts of this transit. Instead of letting the restrictive thoughts that are bubbling to the surface get louder or overtake your plans - try practicing some healthy detachment. I’m not saying to throw all of your creative endeavors into the wind, but, see what happens when you give yourself space to fall in love with what you’re doing again. Try working with detachment to serve you in a healthy way, instead of it working you. You’re the puppeteer behind your emotions, always remember that they’re the one thing you’re in control of. It’s okay to take a step back sometimes. Don’t let intrusive thoughts like “should, would, and could” pop into your brain. Your path is divinely yours, even in your moments of rest.
Oct 12 Mars in Scorpio | Now is not the time to pick fights with anyone you hold dear, as you might get more than you bargained for. Especially if you or the other person have heavy Scorpio or fixed sign placements. Mars is quite happy in Scorpio, with their shared adoration of sharp, stinging, and intense qualities. It oftentimes feels empowering to step into your Mars energy, and it is. However, when wrongfully wielded, you can be overcome with regret after letting the energetic pendulum swing in the direction of Mars for too long. Remember to engage with balance, because falling into heated energy can be tempting and feel good in the moment - but it’s not sustainable. Let this transit fuel you, but don’t get lost in the moment, and remember how crucial balance is in the world around you.
Oct 13 Mars trines Saturn | This day in particular can feel murky, hazy, or a little misty. Since the Mars transit happened the day before, you can feel like a lot of emotions came out of nowhere. You might feel like you’re underwater either emotionally, or physically. Saturn rules the bones while Mars rules blood - so you might feel sore, worn out, or feel extra heavy. Hitting a new PR at the gym, getting a new tattoo, or having a breakthrough in therapy are all ways to experiment with the power of Scorpio while tuning into that Saturnian resonance.
Oct 14 Solar Eclipse in Libra | If you’re one to practice rituals with the moon - this might be a good transit to sit out on. Sometimes, when we try to manifest utilizing the eclipse’s energy - things can turn out sort of funky. Think of manifesting time off from work, but it’s delivered in the form of a broken foot. Especially since this solar eclipse has features from Saturn, it’s more of a reason to work on reflecting rather than manifesting. You might feel called to internalize what’s going on around you, rather than taking it for face value. Transits like this are heavy hitters to our ego and are often tough to work with in the moment. It’s so easy to get into the cycle of asking the universe for more. Instead during this cycle, sit with how far you’ve come in the past 9 years, or even the last 18 years. Like all transits, eclipses happen in timed cycles. They can show up as themes or consistent messages throughout time. Be observant of what’s going on around you and ponder how you can grow from what’s been weighing you down in order to find some balance.
What’s in my cup ☕
Since the weather dipped down to provide our first frost - hot beverages have been a staple. If you’re an avid tea drinker like me, have you ever considered using a French press to steep your tea instead of a single-serving option? Once I brew my tea from my French press, I pop it in my kleen canteen to keep it warm for hours on end. Brewing with this method allows your loose-leaf tea to have a better infusion, too. Since the brisk weather of fall started, I’ve been enjoying a seasonal brew from High Garden Tea. It has pine needles, juniper, and mint and reminds me of a cool brisk fall breeze.
