This week is a packed one when it comes to the Astrology forecast, but if it’s any help - this Mercury retrograde is not expected to be a particularly sticky one. It’ll be a more muted and manageable transit. If you’re looking for the weekly tarot insights, just remember they’re a perk for paid subscribers at the end of this email!
Let’s get onto this week’s Cosmic Insights.
Tuesday tunes 🎵
We’re starting off the week with some feel-good tunes. The ones that can be sung in the car on a road trip, or hummed while walking around the neighborhood after work.
I think it’s important to mention these lyrics, especially during these Saturn and Pluto transits coming up this week. Life can feel a little daunting, like things are changing too fast, and like life is slipping by. But it’s important to know you’re not alone in those fleeting feelings.
When you're always saying, "You're not alone"
Know you're not alone
The current star forecast 🌠
SEP 6 - Sun & Mercury cazimi | If you’ve been feeling a little stuck in your head, or maybe feel like your words haven’t been matching your intentions, this Wednesday will shake that energy up (in a good way.) This is a great time to constructively use your voice, and get clear on communication. This is an auspicious day for speaking your mind, and getting shit done.
SEP 8 - Sun & Jupiter trine | Look for small or underrated moments of luck and generosity from the universe. Serendipitous moments show up in unexpected ways. Along with looking for tiny wins throughout your day, try to plan some magic into your day or put it on your to-do list. Schedule a moment to sit outside and observe the trees, take yourself on a date night, and plan moments of joy into your day.
SEP 10 - Moon & Pluto opposition | Emotions might feel a little bit tense, or even a bit more morose than expected. This isn’t the day to start daunting tasks, or even push yourself out of your comfort zone. Instead, take it easy, and meditate on where you’d like to see yourself in the next year. Focus on the future, without too much pressure on where you are in the present. Instead of feeling like you’re “not where you’re supposed to be” find relief in affirming that “everything is as it should be”. There’s nothing wrong with longing for something different, just don’t beat yourself up about it. If you feel tension arising, make sure you take a moment or two to indulge in some quality self-care or deep meditation. Remember to breathe.
SEP 12 - Mercury & Saturn opposition | Remember how foggy and icky last week felt? Well, expect that feeling to make a bit of a return. You might feel the need to pick apart your partner, or even dissect the way you’ve been walking through life lately. Emotions might be high, and you might feel overwhelmed at times, but remember how important it is to ground yourself. Instead of hyper-focusing on what isn’t working, or where boundaries are showing up in your life - this might be the moment to reflect on some radical acceptance. There’s a certain kind of peace that works with us in times of hardship, and right now, we all need to be a bit kinder to ourselves. Don’t focus on the negative, don’t harp on conversations that didn’t go well, instead - try to enjoy the ride the best you can for the moment.
Good eats 🥑
Super simple greens & beans. This recipe is a constant repeat in our household. It’s insanely simple and can be spruced up in a ton of different ways by tweaking the flavors. You can take this recipe in a savory route, or something more spiced, it’s up to you!
Purple shakes are back in business. Oftentimes I take breaks from my supplements, I feel like it keeps my system happier. But, I’m back in the morning smoothie game while the weather is still warm here in the mountains. This purple smoothie recipe is not only packed with antioxidants and functional herbs, but I add cordyceps and tremella mushrooms in there for extra goodness!
ICYMI 🗞️
Are you feeling a little wonky? Late Sunday evening into early morning there was a significant spike in the Schumann resonance. There are lots of different theories on these readings, and lots of conspiracies too. However, I only can attest to how we personally feel in our household. Did you feel any internal or external shifts? Maybe an increase in pain, headaches, migraines, or something of the sort?
Oxymel update! We’re getting close to straining our oxymel and reducing it down to syrup. If you’re unfamiliar with oxymels, they’re an herbal infusion extracted with honey and vinegar. They can be used in all sorts of ways, and have tons of health benefits! My favorite is added to sparking water in mocktails, but you can add them in salads too! We use these reusable cheesecloths in our house for straining herbal infusions if you’re curious about how to make this practice a little less wasteful!
What’s in my cup ☕
I’ve been back in the coffee game. However, lately, it’s been mostly decaf with a hint of caffeinated coffee in the brew. We use a pour-over ceramic system, with these reusable hemp coffee filters. Bleached coffee filters haphazardly let different particles drip into your morning brew, plus, they’re not too great for the environment. Using reusable coffee filters lets us add what we need to the compost, and save some cash by not buying single-use filters, too.

Next week, I hope to have more personal updates about the Interstellar Harmony House that we’re building. If you feel called to help us develop our dream center, you can check out our donation wishlist here, where we have our GoFundMe and Amazon Wishlist located!
Until next week friends! I hope this email serves you well! I know it seems like a busy one with the stars, but, as always, it’s a constant ebb and flow. Things should even out toward the end of the month if it makes you feel any better!
